the Iranians are looking for trade and security guarantees, as well as access to peaceful nuclear technology.

If the Iranians are serious, they'll abandon all nuclear efforts, including the "peaceful".

"The Truth About the EU"

Good synopsis of the evil EU (which is now part of the Eurasion Alliance, consisting of Russia, Red China and the EU...and still growing!).

crapola. without the big, bad american wolf next door in iraq, the iranians would have never rushed into the arms of the whores from the EU in the first place . . . and don't let anyone tell you different.

It has only been 13 months since the Iranians made - and broke - their last "deal" regarding atomic energy . . .

So I would hardly think that this particular agreement puts any meaningful pressure on the U.S.A. in practical terms . . .

But wishful thinking (fantasy) never ends . . .

You have to admit that this author has a point. After all, the course Old Europe is taking is exactly what we did with North Korea in the mid-90's, and just look how well it worked.

Kind of makes you wonder what the heck is wrong with "Bush's conservative administration", doesn't it?

Well, if we agree to this French brokered deal, we should hold Chirac and France personally responsible for when the Iranians cheat and produce nuclear weapons. If we have to go to war with Iran, France needs to be included in that war as an enemy due to their blatant collaboration in Iran's nuclear weapons proliferation.

"come up with a new policy"

Iran needs to come up not with a new policy, but with a new government. Until that day, our new policy can be - complete naval blockade. ("But that is a warlike act" - so is supporting terrorists in Iraq).

VIENNA - The EU deal that got Iran to freeze key nuclear activities puts the United States on the spot since Washington must now decide whether to continue confronting Iran as an enemy or join Europe in trying to engage it, analysts and diplomats told AFP.

One wonders how much impact the U.S. military lurking in the area had on Iran making this agreement with the EU?

Aside, who in their right mind would trust Iran?

If France et al isn't going to declare war and attack the United States, then who cares?

"Maybe there are tactical differences but the objectives are the same,” the official added about European and US efforts to keep Iran from developing nuclear weapons."

I'll take my chances on this one with Bush for now, but thanks anyway (d*ckhead)...

“The US will make its own mind up as to what they want to do."

Yep they got that part right! But they forgot one little extra detail...Those 'bunker bustin' bombs that the US just sold Israel. Hmmmmmm.....

Reas a lot of the recommended links on other posts, very enlightening. The distruction of Isreal and the weakening of the US as a Superpower by these countries is their Ultimate Goal.

After reading these article you can better understand the frustration of the Left Wing Liberals of the Democratic (SOCIALIST) Party. They have bough tinto the New World Order propaganda. The French, German, Russian and Belgium Treachery is better understood.

George Bush I, Clinton were both for the New World Order, This would lead me to believe that G. Bush II is also for the New World Order. AM I right??

I am confused here because his actions indicate that he is not. His Immigration Policy (which I do not support)indicates that he is. Could someone enlighten me here.

tactical differences?! we want something that works, not promises.

and Madaline albright and jimmy carter were able to stop N.Korea from building nukes.

Trust but verify. Talk is cheep, actions speak.

The Iranian Mullahs are "taking" the EU deal only on paper to try and bypass the USA.

There is no EU foreign desk with a cohesive binding foreing policy. This is a smoke and mirrors put forth by the french.
