While ZOT threads are well and good, the sheer number of hit-and-run and newbie vanity posters lately may be grounds for considering a rule in the software that prohibits new registrants from posting an article (but not prohibit replies to existing articles) for their first couple of days.
Truly pesky DUmmies wouldn't be stopped, but most trolls are probably just doing this on a whim.

I disagree, I've seen a few really good first threads. Additionally, there are some that don't register until that time. Registration date is only a partial indication of thread viability.
