Semper Fi, short for Semper Fideles, which means always faithful in Latin. It's the motto of the United States Marines.

It is a shortened version of the Latin term Semper Fedelis. Translated it reads always faithful. This term is ingrained into every Marine from day 1 of boot camp. You will always have faith in you God, Country, Corps, and the Marine standing next to you. His skin means as much to you as your does to you, and visa versa. You will keep your faith that the Marine who has your back no matter what & you have his! This is also why the Marine Corps is called a band of Brothers! [Sisters in my beloved Corps are included in this as well]
