Chris Wallace just asked Frist if Specter had yet convinced him (Frist) that he is sincere in his claims to support Bush's nominees etc...Frist said "Not yet" GO BILL!!!!

I really appreciate the early heads up on Frist's "not yet" comment. I like that he is not convinced of Spector's loyalty. But....

But really, I don't think there's any doubt the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee will let Spector chair the committee. Frist is much like Spector in his ability to talk the talk, but I"m not holding my breath.

I think Spector will chair, and I think republicans will live to regret it. He's a self-serving horse's ass. He blathers away even more than Hatch, who was more often than not out-smarted by the scorched earth democrats on that committee. I hope I'm wrong.
