I think almost all of us despise PBA and would agree to harsh restrictions on such practice, as well as a number of other reasonable restrictions. But the I wan't it all my way right now and there is no compromise or I am leaving the party crowd are going to wreck it for themselves.

Not all post-viability abortions are PBA. Remember, 22 - 24 weeks is just about the point of viability.
A few more years, and it will be lower than that.
