If the deceived citizens of New England and the Pacific coast are stupid enough to elect liberals of either party, then we will crush them politically in Washington, D.C.

Yeah, that's happened a lot. Rabid "abortion must be stopped at any cost" pro-lifers don't have a chance of 'crushing' anyone. Most of the country sees that group as a bunch of nutjobs.

Look how much a lukewarm this group has received on FR. FR is much more conservative than the nation as a whole, yet even a significant portion of FRs see the group as an anti-abortion version of ACT-UP.

Unlike DU and the Democrats in general, failure to conform on this issue isn't cause for expulsion. The reason you see pro-choice Republicans here debating is because the pro-life founder of this site allows them to do so freely, without fear of reprisals.

Interesting that you'd cite that as an example of how pro-life intolerance alienates fellow Republicans.
