They aren't allies in the fight, by their own words and by their actions.

What has this Spectre hysteria done? The President hasn't even made a nomination and they have succeeded in polarizing the pro-choice advocates into action.

And if everyone doesn't submit to their unrealistic agenda? They're going to commit political suicide in another third party? Do you seriously believe they would take that many voters with them?

I don't. Very few people are willing to throw everything away for NOTHING.

Spector did the polarizing, if any was done.

He should not have made comments on the type of judges to be nominated or voted on other than to say that he would work to get the President's nominees to the Senate floor for a vote.

He showed poor judgement and lack of restraint. We do not need him as Chair of such a vital committee.

Very few people are willing to throw everything away for NOTHING.

Principled people are always in short supply but, thank God, I believe there are enough of them to make the difference.

There are almost certainly enough of them bring down anyone who would ignore them.
