Good post. Glad to see you give Perot his due.
At the dem convention you could hear the murmer of the crowd "Oh look, he is brilliant and he is almost black" when Obama came out. They are counting on big things from him.

Yes the Senate failed us but in their perfidy they also saved us from a President Gore. Gore might have won re election and been in the White House on 9-11. Chew on that for a while.

The Senate failed - a fact for all to see - period, full stop.

AlGore, finishing Clinton's term and then being elected as President (not re-election) - a non sequitur.
