Navy Corpsmen have always served with the marines. The marines have no corpsmen (medics) of their own
Thanks, I didn't know the Marines have no medics of their own. Still, I'm trying to mention every one of the services on this thread, because they are all doing their part in Iraq. Coasties are helping patrol the ports. The National Guard is indispensible. We should honor them all.
That's a soldier of the 1st ID (big red one) not a Marine. If that is a woman it's possible that they are MP's following closely behind the assault forces to mop up wounded enemy and to secure EPW's. I think it's probably a Phillipino or other pacific islander and not a woman.
