Nancy Grace is one tough cookie--and one of the best advocates for victim rights I've ever seen.

As a prosecutor she tended to go a bit overboard, the rule of thumb is not to get emotionally involved in the cases, but she did. She put her heart and soul into prosecutions - and at least once got reversed for that reason.

But there are plenty of slime in jail who deserve to be there, thanks to her hard work and dedication. I'd rather see a prosecutor err on the side of pushing too hard for a conviction, rather than just blowing it off as "just another day at the office."

But I think it took a toll on her. She's surely happier and less stressed in TV - at least it's a different kind of stress, anyhow.
