Nancy Grace reported he was sitting next to Ron, quietly before the verdict. I haven't been able to watch much (dammit) and have been reading all of you to catch up.

This is honestly more than I really hoped for, second was the best I thought we would get and I really thought hung was going to be the case.

For once, no matter what happens in the appeals process (and the scumbag MG knew damn well what was coming down) the right thing was done.

John Gibson on FOX said if Scott is sentenced to death, it could take up to 20 years. Regardless, it is a relief that he will not be out lying and preying upon anyone, except maybe some Big Bubba in the Big House!

It was WHAT I hoped and prayed for. I just wasn't sure if they would go the distance and do the First degree. Praise the Lord is all I can say. I have a feeling this verdict will be the end of the senior Petersons. I somehow don't think they will recover from it!!
