Oh hergus I really feel for you. My daughter had Crohns at 15 and she was 87 pounds before they did surgery. She got completely better but after a baby and five years, she got it back and had to have a second surgery. Since then she's had another baby and has been well for years. In fact she could lose a bit of weight now. She is taking something to prevent a recurrence tho. Not sure what it is. Are you taking anything to prevent a recurrence? It's a terrible disease, so painful. I hope you get better soon. She has lost 20 cm of her small bowel or ileum. That's where you absorb all your nutrients from. The only left over effect she had was some thinning of her hair from lack of nutrients.

Oh no, your daughter too? I hope her medicine will keep her in remission. So much Crohn's, who knew?
