Source: Peterson jury foreman wanted to be taken off panel
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (Court TV) The foreman dismissed from the jury deliberating murder charges against Scott Peterson Wednesday asked to be removed from the panel, a source close to the case told Court TV anchor Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom.
"This juror wanted off the case," Guilfoyle Newsom reported Thursday.
The panelist, identified as Gregory Jackson, 46, quit the jury after his fellow jurors said they wanted another panelist to lead them, the source told Guilfoyle Newsom.
"He was removed as the foreperson and then decided he wanted off the case," Guilfoyle Newsom said.
Story continues ......
The courthouse was closed Thursday because of the Veteran's Day holiday and jurors remained in sequestration at their hotel. The panel is not permitted to discuss the case except in the jury room........
thank you too... ;o)
thank you... great link, and great images. Prayers..
Prayers always to the LEO's!!! Coming up to the Xmas holidays, you be safe! Those deuces
Here is an interesting article now that we know the outcome. I think the probate attorney is wrong about the Petersons being able to foreclose. My take is that SP's property rights can be denied retroactively to the date of the murder. His parents should have tried to purchase title insurance on their deed of trust to protect themselves. Scott Peterson was charged with the crime before the lien was placed on the house by the parents.

It looks like "Binderman" was the problem all along. He probably had #7 bounced in an attempt to exert some power over the others.
Justice!
Yes, good point.
Luv ya too Juz and I don't know WHERE Dev is??? I have been thinking about her.
Great, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I'm sure that Aphrodite Jones is going to write a book about the Peterson case. She wrote a book about the dog mauling case in San Francisco a couple of years ago.
I heard Pixley say WE several times last night. And he also said WE months ago while still appearing on LKL every single time they discussed this subject. IF Pixley was working on the Peterson case he should have been under the GAG order. This is how unsavory Geragos is. Underhanded in all that he does.
RG that sure wouldn't make sense here either. I don't see any legal way that Peterson's could foreclose.
Hi Cheri - did you see that video with Aphrodite trying to crawl in Mark Geragos's jacket. What a kazoo!!
Did you see on Court TV the photographers clustering around a big guy followed by two blond women, with the police escorting them? It was never explained who they were.
No, I didn't see that.
I'm not sure if that was the one I'd seen. I saw video of Aphrodite and Geragos walking closely together and whispering to each other. Ugh.
It was quite a site cheri!! I am absolutely delighted with this verdict and thank God for it. I have to apologize to some of my California friends, I thought for awhile there that they were going to pull another OJ!! Sorry folks, at least there are some sensible people in California.
Just wanted to say Thaks to RB and all of you who devoted time, prayers and dedication to the Lace and Conner Peterson daily thread.
It has been a long two years and justice was served.
As for Mark Geragos and his losing streak I think his business is going to take a huge dive due to lack of clients seeking his overpriced services.
LOL good one Jackie, maybe last seen chasing an ambulance out of town
