Has to do with aerodynamics and density more than anything else. The bullet will be going at terminal velocity by the time it hits the ground. But what is terminal velocity for a bullet?

Pretty fast, I would wager.

Yep, it's drag verses mass in the presence of gravity.

It indicates a .30 caliber bullet hits terminal velocity at about 205 MPH.

Palestinian bodies should, however, slow the bullets down before they hit the ground.
