Isn't it different being fifteen having a baby in the country then being fifteen and having one in the city? I've known a lot of people from the South who grew up in large young families and they didn't have any government assistance. At least out in the country, you can grow your own food and be more self sufficient.

She's 59,even in 1960,15 year olds weren't getting married in rural areas.Of course,we have now been told, that she was 18 and married. But no,rural families can't "grow" diapers and clothes and highchairs and all the rest of the things babies need. And so,bumping this up to 1963,we are suddenly looking at the onslaught of LBJ's " GREAT SOCIETY",when government workers were sent out to even rural areas, tracking people down to put them on the governments' handout rolls.

Be that as it may, this isn't the real problem right now. What if she doesn't escape the odds are the twins are born with problems? Do you have any idea how much such problems can cost?

But what if the babies are okay, but the mother isn't?

Even if EVERYTHING is okay,it's still not going to be easy having twin 15 year olds at 74 and 75!
