"This is a rough movie" I think it would be great to show a film like SPR. It shows violence in a non gratuitous way. It shows that not all violence on screen is equal. That some violence is educational. It is also good for young men and young women to watch. One, to understand that what their grand parents did was honorable, and that it was tough. Two, so that they can understand that "patriotism" isn't what thier liberal high school teachers have told them. It isn't the new fangled institution of challenging all societal norms and fabrics of society for sake of the first amendment alone. "Patriotism" is sacrificing with dignity and selfless motive. It loving your country enough to supress your ownn comforts. It is sometimes beatiful and at other times nasty and painful. Hence the SPR movie.

Nice points. I think that since they made a big deal out of it, more people will watch...or rent it. I'll even try to sit through it.....
