Well, you understand what I mean. The pro-abortionists always resort to the "rape, incest, or when the mother's life is in danger" canard when defending abortion. Funny thing is, that these incidents are miniscule.
Yep, and it's a transparent attempt to short-circuit the argument. Generally the pro-lifer will say that those are not reasons to abort the child, and the pro-abort will respond by endlessly calling the person an extremist nut.
Better to just cede that part of the argument and concentrate on the other 99%, or else the pro-abort will never let you get past arguing the exception.
I quite well understand. You are correct that it is a canard. The entire abortion thing winds down to a woman tossing her instinct to love and nurture her child in favor of making her own life easier. We dehumanize mothers, then wonder why they raise little monsters.
