"I am not at all fooled by Dan Rather, but I thought it was a good picture and nice tribute for our soldiers."

It's a great picture, and Dan Blather didn't need to add a word of his...blather.
I didn't mean anyone specificaly, but if you look through the thread, there were some people who were fooled by his tribute, I'm convinced it was insincere.

"After all Dan Rather is biased beyond belief and his lies and phony documents aren't easily forgotten"

Yup, he sure is.
I wanted everyone to be able to see that article about his repeated BS and lies, and phony stories, going back to the 1988 story, when he made up a bunch of BS about Vietnam vets. In my opinion, Rather is trying to rehabilitate himself. I think his whole speech was contrived, and mawkish. I mean, he even thought the photo should be shown to school children, so they would know what a soldier looks like. huh?

Rather's a liar, always was, and always will be.
The proof of that is that he has always claimed to this day to have been a Marine, and the truth is, he washed out of boot camp. I find that especially offensive, since my son is a Marine.
Regards

"I'm convinced it was insincere."

Blather was insincere and TOAST as far as credibility
since releasing the fake documents. I guess if anyone else were to read that on the Right, it would have been sooo much better
