ReDefeatBush is calling on opponents of the Bush Administration to rally at LaFayette Park in front of the White House on THURSDAY at noon to protest both the suspicious and highly selective mismanagement of the 2004 election by local authorities in Florida and Ohio as well as the escalation of the war in Iraq with the massacre underway in Fallujah.
Our goals are to get the national news media to see the crimes against democracy committed in Ohio and Florida as part of a pattern designed to benefit Bush rather than reporting them as isolated, local, minor glitches, and to get Americans to face the truth about Iraq and about the huge deception of World War I and every war since then -- that one more war will bring peace.
Bring noisemakers such as drums, tamborines, and horns.
They lied to us about weapons of mass destruction.
They lied to us about coordination between Saddam and bin Laden.
They lied to us about the immediacy of the threat from Iraq.
They lied to us about the cost of the war in dollars.
They lied to us about the cost of the war in lives lost, casualties received and lifetimes of physical and psychological torment.
They lied to us about the number of troops needed.
They lied to us about their interest in Iraqi oil.
They lied to themselves about the Iraqi reaction to the invasion.
They lied to us about the mission being accomplished.
They lied to us about the cost of rebuilding Iraq.
They lied to us about the torture of Iraqi prisoners by Americans.
They lied to us about the resistance to the occupation coming from foreign elements.
They lied to us about the independence of the Iraqi leaders.
They lied to us about the handover of power.
And they are still lying to us about the results of the presidential election in the U.S. and the withdrawl U.S. troops from Iraq. In which counties in Florida and Ohio did Bush receive more votes than registered voters? Why did the single most important county to Bush's victory in Ohio -- that provided a third of his statewide margin -- close its vote count to outside observers and then award Bush an increase over his 2000 totals, when the number of Democrats have gone up and the number of Republicans has gone down? Do we expect U.S. troops to come home any time soon from Korea, where they have been for 50 years, or from Germany where they have been for 59 years? Are we building permanent bases in Iraq that we intend to maintain for generations?
Face the Truth, End the Lies. Open a serious non-partisan investigation into the mishandling of the presidential election by Republican local election authorities. And bring our sons and daughters, sisters and brothers, fathers and mothers and husbands and wives home, and turn the reconstruction of civil authority in Iraq over to the U.N. and peacekeeping over to the armed forces of Muslim nations. The tremendous costs we are bearing in Iraq are not the costs of protecting liberty, they are the expenses of maintaining an empire.
We should be able to out number them easily.
Don't say or chant anything. Just point, wave hankies, and laugh in unison. It'll send them further around the bend.
One more thing -- take plenty of photos.
D.C. Chapter ping!
Note to dems; Get Over It
Smart move. Go to DC and protest the war on Veteran's Day.
Good way for them to get their asses whipped.
Maybe SENATOR Kerry will be there to help them carry protest signs.
I sorta suspect the geniouses that came up with this have no idea what date Veterans Day falls on.
Is whoever is behind this utter nonsense an enemy agent or just a total nutjob? Whoever it is, he and reality never even met. Get him a tinfoil hat and some meds.
THEY'LL ALL BE AT WORK ON A WEEKDAY!
I've been enjoying the "chicken little" letters to the editor in my local Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The wailing and gnashing of teeth have been most amusing.
Idiots.
Leftists always go with the plan that has the best chance of abject failure. Like clockwork, I swear.
Well I haven't heard anything since the election, but will these wackos have enough steam to push for impeachment? Hmmm? There are still plenty of nutjobs up on the Hill that would support it. Or do you think that they would be smacked down too hard by the majority?
Don't count on it ... only 94.5% of Americans are employed.
AT LEAST THE RED STATES BELIEVE IN SOAP AND DEODORANT
Congress gets back in session on Monday so I am sure that if the Dems think they can pull an impeachment off, they will. Actually, I don't think they care if would go through, just the act of drawing up impeachment papers would just make them all so giddy!!!!!!!!!
It is one up-manship--the dems' immaturity never fails to astound me. They have been at it for 4 years now, and it has never occured to them that the American (red states) can see right through their childishness.
Well, if they must push for impeachment I advocate they frame the 2006 elections around the theme. ;-)
