Sorry.
I couldn't help myself!
Mod -- I'll bet you take this down, but please don't send me to outer darkness.
It was temporary, celebratory insanity.

How ironic would it be, to win W's re-election, gain seats in both houses, gain governorships and LOSE THE SUPREME COURT?!?!??!?
It would be the ultimate example (IMNSHO) of winning the battle(s) but losing the war.
Snarlin' Arlen is a huge threat!!!!!

Just got back from Florida. I was so elated to see all the W bumper stickers. I could actually celebrate Bush's victory with like-minded folks.
Living in California can be pretty lonely for the likes of us.

Although I took the bumper sticker off the car and the sign down from the window (don't want to GLOAT, you know), I cannot help myself sometimes. When the kids are safely dropped off at school, when there is no one I know in the car or even in sight, I cannot keep myself from using the anonymity of the car with all the windows up to shriek "LOOOOOOOOSER!" at a car with a Kerry sticker on it.
And this from an otherwise respectable, 40-something Mom and veteran with two advanced degrees. Go figure.

Ok, now you got all my kids rolling on the floor laughing and not doing their school work. That would be KROFLNDSW

I honestly thought I would get tired of gloating after a whole week.
Wrong!
In celebration, I wrote a letter to the editor of our local fishwrap getting in the face of the usual whining commies who are now starting their incessant bitching again about GWB. They just never quit and enjoy the blessings of life in this country. I don't know if I can stand four more years of their bellyaching and lies, so I'll just celebrate the anniversary by going on the offensive again in print.
They're not going quietly, so neither shall I.

Don't feel bad...ever since the morning of Election Day, whenever I saw/see a Kedwards sticker, or one of those stupid "Regime Change Begins at Home" or "Outsource Bush" stickers, I just held up four fingers (and no, not the middle one four times), until I passed the car, or it passed me).
On Wednesday, when the election was still (not really) in doubt, on my route through one of the most liberal areas in Los Angeles, I did not see one Kerry sticker. I did see some BC04s, though...including some yard signs that had already been up before the election.
Looking forward to the Southern California FReepers Inaugural Ball...can't make it to Washington. Please PING me with details!
