I'm in Northwest NJ and some trades are mixed. Landscaping seems to have a majority of immigrant workers. Gone are the days when college and high school kids did that work (my brother used to do it). Construction seems mixed, retail is mixed (depends on the store).
I hope your not saying that landscaping is skilled-labor. Its hard work, but hardly a necessity.
