lol At this rate, a mistrial would be a relief.
Let's go for a new trial and another run at 1st degree, rather than settle for 2nd, just to get the case over with before we run out of alternates. :-(

If it was the MD/Lawyer, I say good too. He was probably droning on as their eyes glazed over. He's the guy with the endless notes, right? I bet without him they would have come back in after a day with "guilty".
I'm thinking it was the other way around. The others were too dang stupid to figure out that Scott was guilty. But, on second thought, he was a lawyer, so you may be right. Lawyers love to obfuscate the truth.
How did that guy even get on the jury? You would have thought one side or the other would have had him stricken from the jury pool.
