well, im glad he's staying. I don't think your going to get a Republican out of rhode island anymore, so lets stick with him.
And lets stick with Spector too. I liked that piece he wrote in the WSJ.

You dont suppose that the realization that his changing sides would gain him nothing aside from swicthing to the minority party has anything to do with his new found party loyalty do you...nah couldnt be.

Chafee is pro abortion, pro Kyoto Treaty, pro death tax, and anti tax cuts...but he wants to stay with the Republican party because it's time for reelection, he just saw the way voters came out for President Bush and he wants to use Republican money to get himself reelected.
I hope the "powers-that-be" have learned the lesson from helping Specter get reelected and refuse to fund this guy or endorse him.
Let a real Republican have a chance at the spot.
