The world gets a temporary six month suspension of Iran's niuke program, in return for which Iran gets (among other thingts):
* the reaffirmation of Iran's right to a nuclear energy program for peaceful purposes;
* support in Iran's acquisition of a light water research reactor;
* resumption of talks on a trade agreement between the European Union and Iran;
* support for Iran's membership in the World Trade Organization;
* continuation of a policy defining as a terrorist organization the Iranian opposition group known as Mujahedeen Khalq ;
* access to imported nuclear fuel at market prices for Iran's reactors; and
* help with regional security concerns, including combating drug trafficking.
It doesn't. Israel still has to take the facility out. And hopefully, they will; soon.
the diffwerence in this one is that the UN has the balls to openly take the loot to allow the nukes
At least with the oil for food deal, they did it behind turned backs.
Give me one valid reason to trust Iran to not build a nuke if they have the capability. I will give you more than a hundred reasons to stop them right now.
help with regional security concernsA non-nuanced version of that would read:
The EU guarantee's Iran's security and defense against U.S. or Israeli aggression or intervention.
I wish they'd hurry-up and publish the full text of their surrender and nuclear proliferation agreement. I'm absolutely certain we're going to be just delighted. :-|
Makes the EU feel better and inoculates Iran against W-II.
If Kerry had been elected do you think Iran would have been cooperative at this time on any level?
