Hey, I have an idea!

We've got "Martin Luther King, Jr. Day." Why can't we have "Jesus Day!"

You know, after having posted this, I realize that some people might feel it was sacreligious, and if that's the case, I apologize.

FWIW, even though I'm Jewish, I always wish everyone a "Merry Christmas" (unless I know they're Jewish, then it's Chanuka).

MLK day really upsets me! We get that day off from school here in Arizona. I think what MLK did for civil rights for African Americans was great. But they won't give us Presidents day off which celebrates the accompishments of some of our greatest presidents. Such as Abraham Lincoln, who without him, the Civil War probably wouldn't have ended the way it did, which probably would have never given slaves any chance at freedom. Without Abe Lincoln, MLK wouldn't have had a cause to work on.
