Im Scottish so when I heard them playing, it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, said Staff Sgt. Grant Smillie. It's not just the Scottish. If the hairs on the back of one's neck don't stand up when hearing Amazing Grace on the pipes, they ARE the dearly departed.

Not a drop of Scottish blood in me- more's the pity- but the pipes make me cry. Haunting! And Scotland the Brave is thrilling.
Amazing Grace- you're right. You have no soul of that tune on the pipes doesn't put a lump in your throat and a tear in your eye.
