why is there a blue line in the center of alabama that extends into eastern missippi? that one has me stumped.



I'd guess that mid Alabama and the lower Mississippi valley are low-density areas populated predominantly by blacks.

the line has no apparent freeway and seems to be between montgomery and birmingham. your hypothesis makes sense to me.

All of the rural counties in the south that are blue are small agrarian counties with majority black populations.Look at the Miss.River. The flood plain on both sides is blue.
