Chief, I thank you for your service to our country, but on this issue I have to agree with Wildturkey. Posting unsubstantiated rumors without, any basis in fact, in the middle of a close election, did none of us any good. In fact, it was a disservice to the Bush campaign and the Swifties, who actually took the bullet again for this country and put their chins out.

I distinctly remember those posts and I also recall that the story did go to the front page. It may not have been the newspaper you or I wanted but I thought I was clear about that.

Sure. But understand that having inside info places you in a very awkward position. Its a series of tough calls and dissapointments - do I put this out there when I see they are demoralized without the full story, oops I got chop-blocked by higher on this one, etc.
Don't be too harsh. If you weren't so hungry for the scoop, you wouldn't have been so affected ;)
Well, except for the last episode with the rally, Chief did not lead us on with false hope. When he said something would happen, it did.
