Dangit, you beat me to my point!

William the Impeached has been disbarred - doesn't matter if it's for a 5-year period. If you've had the privilege of arguing before SCOTUS taken once, you never get it back.

We've got two lawyers in my Guard company, and both of them told me the same thing: it's not so much a law on the books, as it is a legal protocol, like a stigma - or a stain on a dress...

Of Course Dems would argue that didn't matter because you don't have to be an attorney to be a Supreme Court Justice. But the idea isn't even funny as a joke, much less for any sort of discussion, I would pull this thread.
