In a bid to encourage demoralized Democrats, left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore is predicting that President Bush will become so "cocky and arrogant" that he'll commit an impeachable offense that will end in his removal from office. Moore was silent on the crushing defeat of John Kerry for 48 hours after the election. Then, on Thursday he posted a list of all the Iraq war dead along with a terse statement that he hoped they would "forgive" America for re-electing Bush. On Friday he elaborated with a list of 17 reasons Democrats need not despair. "Bush is now a lame duck president," Moore reminded. "It's all downhill for him from here on out." One likely possibility, says the celluloid conspiracy monger, is that the White House will alienate the GOP base by abandoning Christian conservatives -- since he no longer needs them for re-election. Another is that Bush "will become so cocky and arrogant -- and thus, reckless -- that he will commit a blunder of such major proportions that even his own party will have to remove him from office." Adds Moore: "This is such a wonderful country -- it doesn't even need a president!"
Oh NO!! I was hoping he would be chosen to introduce their candidate, Howie 'The Screamer' Dean...:-)
This from a man who became so cocky and arrogant that he motivated a huge bloc of conservatives to vote for Bush, thus sealing his removal from serious Democrat circles.
Right. The Slob makes too much money off the kool-aid drinkers.
Suborn perjury? Lie to a grand jury? Sell nuclear weapons technology to a hostile foreign country?
I think historical precedent indicates that none of these acts are impeachable. Oh, I forgot, "equal justice under law" does not apply to Republicans.
AKA M&M - Mental Midget
This guy is so delusional and unbalanced. He should be sent to the funny farm. Look at the positive side folks, as long as Mooron keeps opening his yim-yam, he is campaigning for our side. He's worth a million votes for conservatism!!!
We don't want Moore to shut up. He has become a prominent face of the Rat party, and that means lots of votes and a motivated base for us. The Rats who are realistic know they need to distance themselves from this guy, but they're stuck with him. He won't go away on his own, and they would have to go out of their way to denounce him. Which, in turn, would alienate the Rats activists. All we have to do is kick back and enjoy.
Actually Moore did a favor. He has essentially tipped the hand for the next tactic the Dems and the MSM will try over the next 4 years.
Why won't this guy go away? I wish the press would just ignore him. He is irrelevant. I actually have a good friend who is extremely liberal who met him and left their meeting frightened by him. Said he is not living in reality and his goal is to turn the US into a socialist state.
For someone who claims to be so concerned about the troops, has he ever contributed money to the USO or any scholarship funds for soldiers' children or any military charity? I am curious about this (but I'll bet my right him he has not.)
Yes, and so far Moore has had a stellar record when it comes to his political predictions. (Read with sarcastic tone.)
Michael Moore, American Hatriot, predicts a "blunder", but at the moment, he doesn't have much. If in four years as President already, AND with great potential for fatal error, George W. Bush has not made a sufficiently large mistake for Michael Moore, American Hatriot, to call him to account, it is not likely that anything will emerge between now and January 20, 2009, that will significantly change.
Because it would have to be REALLY convincing, as the House of Representatives has a majority of Republican members at the moment, and it is highly unlikely that the situation will change anytime soon.
Forgive me for saying this, but he should simply drop dead.
Moore probably thinks his little followers are dumber than
dirt.
Moore lives in a different planet that I live on....
Moore (aka Gulliver) better watch out the Lilliputians don't tie his fat butt to the ground for the next 50 years. ;)
Well, there IS that.
Ugggghhhh.
i just find the man SO disgusting and it seemed like he was everywhere this last year.
