Have you ever noticed that repeated clip of arafat sitting in a hospital room surrounded by his entourage....and there's one large fella on the left holding arafat's right hand.....

Arafat tries to lift the guy's hand up to kiss it and when the guy notices he yanks his hand back in reflex and Arafat is stuck in the air trying to air-kiss the guy's hand like a complete dork.

I was wondering why that guy would recoil from Arafat kissing his hand....unless he was afraid of "germs." I know AIDS transmission is unlikely in such a case, but it's not unlikely that that guy wouldn't be a little wary anyway if he suspects AIDS.

Yes, I have seen that lots of times and it always brings a smile. I wish they would run it just a little longer, however, because they cut the tape just when it is getting good.
