Psalm 90: 17
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us---
yes, establish the work of our hands.
We come to You today as children of Your love, and we pray that You would help us to hear Your voice above all the noise and din of our lives. Descend unto us, Holy Spirit, like a dove, and come into our hearts, that we may be as one with You. Help us to be still and know that You are God. May Your Name and Your holiness be exalted above all the earth. Help us to never forget You, the God of our salvation, for You are our Rock of refuge. O Lord, You are our God; we will exalt You and praise Your name. For You have done wonderful things; things planned long ago in perfect faithfulness.
Thank You for every victory You have won for us thus far in this war against terrorism, Lord. Thank You for the military personnel who serve to defend America. Now, Father, we call upon You to protect each troop as the battle is waged to rid Fallujah of terrorists. Give our military leaders and strategists great wisdom and secure this victory for the people of Iraq so that the January elections may be held peacefully. Create in each American a deep appreciation for those in uniform, and let this gratitude be communicated openly to our service personnel.
O Lord, our hearts will ever praise You for granting us a righteous man to continue to lead this nation. May Your favor rest upon him, Lord as You establish the work of his hands and set the agenda for his work during the next four years as President. Grant him resolve and a continuing desire to please You and to be guided by Your righteous right hand. Father, please shower our President and First Lady with special rest and renewal as they spend time at Camp David this weekend. We ask for an anointing of Your Spirit as we commit to holding up this family in prayer for the next four years. May the prayers of Your people be used to bring about tremendous revival in this nation, O Lord, and may Your Name be glorified above all the earth.
Holy Father, You reign; You are robed in majesty and armed in strength. The world is firmly established and cannot be moved, for Your throne was established long ago. You are from all eternity. May holiness adorn Your house for endless days, O Lord. Hear the prayers of Your people as we gather together in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Praying as always, my dear faith.
Bless you, texasflower. I hope you and your family have felt the Lord's arms around you as prayers were lifted up on your behalf. May God continue to hold you close.

Ps 1:1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
(NKJV)
Dear Lord,
thankyou for this very moment the saints of this prayer ministry can gather to praise You and send our prayers toward home.
Lord we pray for all of our defenders of freedom in harms way as they fight to bring freedom from tyranny to a torn nation.
Lord,we pray for all of Your saints, and especially for our president, his family and counsel.
2Co 12:1 It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord:
2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows--such a one was caught up to the third heaven.
3 And I know such a man--whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows--
4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
5 Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities.
6 For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me.
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.
8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.
9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
(NKJV)
"I will pour water upon him that is thirsty."
- Isaiah 44:3
When a believer has fallen into a low, sad state of feeling, he often
tries to lift himself out of it by chastening himself with dark and
doleful fears. Such is not the way to rise from the dust, but to continue
in it. As well chain the eagle's wing to make it mount, as doubt in order
to increase our grace. It is not the law, but the gospel which saves the
seeking soul at first; and it is not a legal bondage, but gospel liberty
which can restore the fainting believer afterwards. Slavish fear brings
not back the backslider to God, but the sweet wooings of love allure him
to Jesus' bosom. Are you this morning thirsting for the living God, and
unhappy because you cannot find him to the delight of your heart? Have you
lost the joy of religion, and is this your prayer, "Restore unto me the
joy of thy salvation"? Are you conscious also that you are barren, like
the dry ground; that you are not bringing forth the fruit unto God which
he has a right to expect of you; that you are not so useful in the Church,
or in the world, as your heart desires to be? Then here is exactly the
promise which you need, "I will pour water upon him that is thirsty." You
shall receive the grace you so much require, and you shall have it to the
utmost reach of your needs. Water refreshes the thirsty: you shall be
refreshed; your desires shall be gratified. Water quickens sleeping
vegetable life: your life shall be quickened by fresh grace. Water swells
the buds and makes the fruits ripen; you shall have fructifying grace: you
shall be made fruitful in the ways of God.
Whatever good quality there is in divine grace, you shall enjoy it to the
full.
All the riches of divine grace you shall receive in plenty; you shall be
as it were drenched with it: and as sometimes the meadows become flooded
by the bursting rivers, and the fields are turned into pools, so shall you
be-the thirsty land shall be springs of water.

i am deeply sorry.

TULIP!
Ps. 94:19 vf
When my anxious thoughts multiply within me,
Thy consolations delight my soul.
Can a throne of destruction be allied with Thee?
One which devises mischief by decree?
They band themselves together against the life of the righteous
And condemn the innocent to death.
But the Lord has been my stronghold,
And my God the rock of my refuge.
And He has brought back their wickedness upon them,
And will destroy them in their evil,
The Lord our God will destroy them.
My Precious Father, how I still am full of awe and thankfulness from your mighty actions of last week in this nation! Father, that many, many of those deceived by the enemy of their souls will have the veil removed, so that they may find the Kingdom of Your dear Son! Father, that we your servants will be faithful to hold up the arms of our President in prayer, just as Aaron and Hur held up the arms of Moses! Lord, grant our President be steady until the end, faithful to you, leaning on you, committed to you. We thank you and praise you, in the name of Jesus.
That all may know that you are God....bless and protect our president. Grant him wisdom and favor. Go before him in battle dear Lord and keep him close to you. We pray that he will forever hear your voice and follow your ways. Surround him with wise counsel and a hedge or protection. Confound the plans of his enemies and make a show of them openly. In Jesus name.
Thank you, again, Father, for the riches of Your mercy and grace toward us. Your kindness, not our own virtue, has made us great.
Lord I pray for our troops in Falujah. The time has come to drain that Middle East swamp and set up a democratic wedge state there. Please give our soldiers wisdom, courage, protection, favor, and good success. Give the people of that region the good sense to know they must accept the virtues of democracy and give up old ways of thinking. Cause the terrorists to seriously fall out of favor with the people, so that they become the unwelcome interlopers they are.
The world is watching Falujah, and our enemies, including our own media, are crouching to strike at any false move or difficult circumstance. They will expend all their might to frustrate the president, out of hatred for him and for his godly vision, both international and domestic.
Therefore we ask that You chastise Your enemies, and bring about Your perfect will. We are mindful, in this regard, of the Thornburgh commission, due soon to report on the integrity or its lack in a major news outlet. Continue to give the president favor before the people, for every day he faces intense opposition, even while You frustrate and confuse Your enemies.
Thank you for all the attention being given to moral values, and for how humiliated our degenerate cultural elites are by the election results. Thank You for working division, for judgment often must come before repentance. Please follow it through with the rise of a mighty revival among the willing. Set this nation's spirit afire, with a flame of truth and liberty that will not be extinguished.
We remember the hostages, and Your persecuted throughout the earth. We ask You to set captives free, and comfort all who mourn. Restore families, for the sake of the little ones.
Thanks for the wonderful link about our brave troops. May our powerful and awesome God defend them.
What a beautiful message of hope from Spurgeon today. Who among us is immune to times of discouragement and feelings of failure? Thank you, alpha for sharing this wonderful promise.
