We added 350,000 jobs last month. The market is expanding. We sell lots of stuff. Thats why business can hire more people.

70K of those were construction jobs. service jobs, health care, government, education - those are the growth areas. tech is hurting, especially big company tech, they are shedding jobs like crazy.

Biggest factor in that was construction work in Florida. Last months hurricanes probably have something to do with that. This seems like a transient increase.

The percentage unemployed actually went up a tick.
