This is a depressing fact indeed (bulk of real taxpayers not having enough children). It also doesn't help much that this issue is very tricky to discuss without "racist" charges flying. I look at my own situation and low and behold I'm part of the problem - I'm 34 and my wife (32) and I are about to have our first child. At most we may have 2 more kids eventually, but most people in our category (white, well-educated, dual income of $150K +) are only having 1 or 2 kids. I live in one of the most if not the most expensive areas to live in the U.S. (Boston)- so that doesn't help. I would love to have more kids but we just can't afford too (I'll need all the extra money I can muster for private school tuition).

How do we discuss this issue on a national level without being called racist? Ideas? Thoughts?

The best question all day.

This isn't the only issue that is taboo.

1] Mass ignorance in America is not discussed. This may be the final nail on America's coffin. Election 2004 showed how ignorant America really is as the jobs and economy were such prominent parts of the discussion, something that the president has little to no control over.

Abortion is a judicial issue and health care is a Congressional issue. It is amazing how many silly and stupid items were associated with presidential responsibility (ammo dumps in Iraq?) because ignorant America believes the president pushes all the buttons that makes the world tick.

2] We have mass slavery in the United Sates today that is also taboo. It is never discussed on the MSM. Alan Keyes has spoken about this, as have a few others. Two sources: (A) Tax slavery where taxpayers are slaves to the masters who are dependent on social welfare, and (B) blacks who are slaves to the Democratic Party. The Democrats WANT to keep the blacks enslaved to their party. If the blacks were give opportunity, then they would gravititate toward independence and a desire for liberty (and Republican, or conservative). A big power base for the Democratic Party is the black population, and the Democrats will do anything possible to keep them dependent and enslaved.

At least 2% of the blacks escaped form slavery this election, as the % went from 9% in 2000 to 11% in 2004. My hats off and a warm welcome to freedom to those 2% blacks and their 9% brethern who broke through in previous years.

My wife is Latina, I am Middle-Eastern, and we refused to be enslaved--even though we are both "minorities". We voted Bush-Cheney and would have moved to Costa Rica, if the anti-American traitor Kerry had been elected.

3] The issue at hand. Like the other taboos, the low birth rate among taxpayers and the high birth rate among nontaxpayers will not be discussed.

As you pointed out, the word "racist" is thrown out whenever intelligent discussion on crucial issues is brought up. The Democratic Party, (whose goal is to keep minorities enslaved), will see to that.

Unless the birth rate picks up for taxpayers, and unless it slows down for nontaxpayers, we are in for demographic hell, as America accelerates to third world status.
