I wonder how many people feel this way?I'd say about 10% of the population.
As for myself, my little girl had a stomach virus last week and threw up all over me. I stayed up with her most of the night and went to work on almost no sleep.
And I wouldn't trade those five sleepless hours with my little girl in my arms for all the gold in Ft. Knox.

LOL.
When my youngest (now 12) was 2 1/2, my wife and I took a weeks vacation without the kids, 2nd honeymoon, sorta kinda. Grandma stayed with them.
She must have sensed we were leaving about 2 weeks before we were due to go and simply would not sleep. I stayed up with her in my arms night after night trying to get her comfortable enough to sleep. I went to work everyday more bleary eyed than I'd ever done as a college student.
This I learned, Barnie at 330am is a hallucinogen.

I have a daughter and enjoyed watching her grow up but did not enjoy wiping up her vomit, you're sick. I'd trade the sleepless nights and vomit for the gold.
