Hardly. RvW is pure judicial usurpation of the legislative prerogative. That many wish to posit its inviolability, whether it be because they approve of the practice, or because they want to avoid going on the record with their votes, is irrelevant. RvW is an bastard decision, and it will eventually fall.
I do agree that abortion will never be made illegal throughout the United States, but the issue has been so hotly and consistantly disputed for so long I find it delusional to imagine it's legality will continue in it's current form in perpetuity.
We all know there are vast segments of this society that are patiently waiting to attack the practice with all the vigor of the suffragettes, and the only thing preventing them from doing so is the certain knowlege forcing the issue would leave our current system of government in tatters.
