The rage and frustration of another Bush victory was more than many San Franciscans could take. As soon as Bush's re-election was confirmed in the middle of Wednesday, November 3, people started gathering at Powell and Market streets. By 5pm the crowd had swelled to several thousand.

The photographs below were taken at the rally and at the march that followed. Captions are provided only where needed.

I see the anti-American left is working hard to ensure the 2006 mid-term elections for the G.O.P. God Bless 'em

SICK BASTARDS!

Maybe they could join Chirac in France to kiss Arafat's butt before he leaves this world for his 52 virgins.

We should start a campaign to pray for liberals or to pray for San Francisco.... it would drive them nuts

Actually, HBO's Angels in America placed Heaven in San Francisco (It was the 'gay' Heaven'). It was a bit backward from my viewpoint - To me, San Fran in Angels in America actually was Hell. These pics confirm it.

If the Bay area of California (San Francisco) wants to succeed -- it works for me... just put a high wall around for border control!

The IRS has NEVER fined any church. It is a LIE! When the ACLU doesn't get it's way they try to scare people in to doing what they demand. Tell them to stuff it!

If the IRS has a problem with campaigning in churches the DEMOCRAT party would be out of business!

Aren't they sort of "preaching to the choir" by holding their protest in San Fran? Were I their media consultant, I would immediately recommend a venue with more potential - some red county with lots of conservatives. Then they might have a chance of gaining converts.

I can think of a few small burgs right here in my neck of the woods where this sort of "protest" would immediately draw some very intense "scrutiny". They would find themselves the center of attention, "surrounded" by conservatives who were eager to "understand" what they are all about. They would be "questioned" very carefully about their attitudes and opinions so no one could mistake their message. We would want to understand their take on the symbolism and message content behind burning the flag or using foul language in public discourse. In return, we could "educate" them on our opinions of the same subject. We could offer "solutions" for their problems and "treatments" for their ailments. Heck, they would probably even earn "free transportation" on their return trip to the left coast from our always "friendly" and "helpful" law enforcement community (well at least as far as the county line that is).

It always puzzles me why these very devout and opinionated liberals never come to my county to convert us simple folks from our wayward path. Oh well.
