The rage and frustration of another Bush victory was more than many San Franciscans could take. As soon as Bush's re-election was confirmed in the middle of Wednesday, November 3, people started gathering at Powell and Market streets. By 5pm the crowd had swelled to several thousand.
The photographs below were taken at the rally and at the march that followed. Captions are provided only where needed.

We'll chip in for the bus ticket to Matamoros, Tijuana, Juarez, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto Montreal or Quebec. I suspect living among the Quebecois would suit you best. OTOH, there's probably a horse in Tijuana that you might like to get to know, in the biblical sense.

finnman69,
After seeing this pathetic display of humanity, if stem cell research could develop a cure for the nihilistic delusional psychotics, I might support publicly funding it!!!

Anti Christ - anti American spirit at work. Demonic "stronghold" of hate.Yep, I know that spirit well. That was me before salvation. Four years ago we had a 'spy' in the service, he got up and left when the sermon started. I didn't notice anybody this time, but the marquee out front said 'How to elect a president Sun 10:30'. I imagine there was some fascist operative around.

GREAT idea. Load up the return trip with more POWs who still might have something to say about the Vietnam War's most famous lifeguard.....

I look forward to seeing a montage of the anti-everything protesters of the 60's and seventies superimposed on the protesters of today.
One might be able to see some substance to the heart of the old "give peace a chance" hippies of yesteryear, but today's protesters seem to be saying, "If they won't give peace a chance, KILL THEM!"
Perhaps we can arrange for all the liberals and all the terrorists to take up housekeeping in Greenland.
They should be able to all just get along.
