My father-in-law was ex-army and the hoops I had to jump through were many. But once he got to know my politics and my principles.....I was in but good.

Sadly he passed away 4 years ago....He is sorely missed.

"I was in but good."

Me too. Once my Father-in-law saw that my intentions toward his daughter were honorable, we had a very good relationship. He passed away about 44 years ago, and I still miss him.

His daughter and I ce3lebrated our fiftieth Anniversary this past June-he would have been proud.

Life goes on, and every generation of Fathers judge their daughter's suitors by their own intimate fantacies. Fortunately reality prevails, almost every time.
