Dude, let 'em spin on this. This is not a situation where spinning the story gains them anything. What they need right now is the cold water of honesty and they refuse to look at the truth. This is good for our side. Democrats will conclude that they weren't leftist enough and will swerve even harder left. More average people will be turned off by their socialist agenda and will report that the country is going in the wrong direction. They did this in 2004 and ended up putting forward a horribly leftist candidate this time.

The bottom line is that kool-ade democrats think everyone else is stupid, that they alone possess a kind of sophisticated, urban understanding that everyone else should bow down to. They will never be able to appeal to average people by talking down to us. We have far more common sense and BS vision than they give us credit for. Like I said, this is good for our side.

Right on...there are hundreds of reasons but don't confuse the moral values reason as being solely religious.

I am a gay, agnostic who voted for Bush and values was one reason. I believe integrity and honesty in a leader is a minimum requirement, qualities that Kerry just doesn't have.

While I disagree with the far right's opinion of me and my partner I'll continue to support the GOP, just keep my distance from the radical right. By the way, I'll vote against them if they continue to try to suppress my quest for Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
