Judicial nominees are the Number 1 issue of many conservative voters. Specter is 180 degrees out of phase with conservatives on this. Specter's position is identical to Kerry's. If we let Specter become the Chairman of the Judiciary, we will have defeated a main reason for electing Bush. Why should the GOP have a hand in putting up the biggest obsticles for Bush's nominees? Your position makes no sense. Specter's opposition to Bush's nominees are well known.
