Bush wasn't the choice of cult-like theocrats. He was the choice of normal people.
It is delightful to realize that the President has indeed broadened the base, with record numbers of Hispanics and Jews voting for a Republican candidate. I was particularly delighted to see that the Catholic vote split the way it did for Bush, as a former Catholic, I've been very dismayed to see Catholics in the back pocket of the Rat party, and especially glad to see that Catholic voters saw through sKerry's phony Catholicism.
All we can hope for is that the MSM finds a good way to similarly delude itself for the 2006 and 2008 elections. The longer they don't get it, the more they lose.
