I agree, my wife struggled for five years with this horrible thing. It has nothing to do with you are, what you do or how much money you make. She has young kids and I hope she can see them grow up. My wife didn't have that much time but she made the most of the time she had.

I'm sorry about your wife.
Last Saturday I attended the funeral of a dear friend who lost her two year battle with breast cancer, and left four little kids, ages 5 to 11. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. And the Edwards kids need their mother.
On the other hand, my sister had it four years ago, and she's fine now.
You never know.
