I don't believe Edwards did.
I could be wrong, but I remember W did say it, cuz I watched. Not to be nitpicky, but she put it off cuz he was campaigning, and I really really hate him for not demanding she go to the doctor and screw the campaign.

I only watched Edwards' and Kerry's speeches. Edwards said it. The rest of his speech was rather angry and out in space somewhere -- blather on about every vote being counted -- but then he looked right at his wife with sympathy in his face and said she was the love of his life or at least something similar to that. It was the total change of emotion, the pause, and the sympathy rather than passion look that caught my eye.
