Unfortunately, we still have a lot of yellow-dogs around here.

My daughter told me that her fifth grader helped organize a kid vote at her school - 348 to 43 (about) for W. Her third-grader found out her best friend voted forsKerry (her father is a lawyer). Christy wanted to know if that meant her friend would not go to heaven. My daughter assured her that my best friend was a dim, so it was ok to have friends who were different.

I remember when there were no Republicans elected in local or state politics..When the primaries were over, the dem candidate was assured of election(Yes I AM that old)

I voted for Eisenhower in my first Presidential election and helped elect the first Republican County Commissioner in Dallas County...It has been a long road..My mother voted for Reagan, her first Republican vote..I know about yellow dog democrats..Now we have broken glass Republicans!
