I'm not saying this is necessarily your attitude, but I have seen a lot of posts evidently gloating over the thought that she was drunk or on some sort of drugs.

I find this ugly, repellant, and unworthy.

The woman is a wreck, spiritually, intellectually, morally, personally and socially. There's nothing funny about that; it's sad and pathetic.

Worse, she came darned close to being our First Lady. There's nothing funny about that, either.

If it elicits any response from us at all, it should be to provoke Christian posters to pray for her.

And before we get too arrogant about another drunken Dem -- don't I recall a Republican president whose wife had her own problems?

Unless your point is to invite prayer for her, let's just let it go.

Agreed. You're absolutely right.

The DNC should have vetted her. Not doing so invites all the scorn and ridicule.

Agreed.

I really have no sympathy for THK in the political sense; I am certainly glad that she will not be our first lady. But that's where my interest in this woman ends.

In the months and days leading up to the election, the photographs I have seen of her range in expression from "unhappy" to "miserable". If I were to guess, I don't think she wanted to be put through an election at all. Perhaps she didn't see her husband as a viable candidate and indulged him (total guess) in the primaries.

Hate the ideas, not the brains that house them. We all bit our nails Tuesday evening and we had our monkeyfun all day yesterday in our drunken victory party, but I think it's time to get down to the business of what we do best here at the FR-- Be the front line of defense in the culture war, spread our ideas and crush leftist ideologies. Kicking folks when they are down just ain't right.

Best of luck to John Kerry and his wife. We'll be working hard to send you home to Massachusetts when your term is up.

How do you know any of this? She may be a simple case of a senior citizen displaying some of the effects of advancing years.
You are judging her and those who post on FR. Just take care of yourself.

Well said, Dan. I was tempted to post something, but you've given me a spiritual slap upside the head.
