My guess is that Bush will "reach across the aisle", and in a show of good faith, have a conservative Democrat made the head of the Judiciary Committee.

At least, that's what I hope for. Specter's just gonna make the rest of us look bad.

Specter is a prime example of what’s wrong with our party, but the bigger problem is that Republicans refuse to eliminate impediments to supporting conservative policies and edicts. The RNC continues to give “leadership” positions to pansies like Lott, Hatch, and Frist, whose primary objective is to “make nice” with their socialist “friend from the other side.”

Their gutless and spineless actions to combat Democrat tactics or threats, when there are any, only serve to embolden pathetic scumbags like Specter and his liberal counterparts. Dasshole’s “supermajority” nonsense was met with nothing more than whining and hand wringing, followed by vacuous threats from Frist, which probably resulted in Democrats laughing their backsides off behind closed doors.

From Bush’s nonsensical “new tone” crapola to “working to unify the country”, its bovine excrement that serves only to impede the conservative mandate the President was given. The fact that Specter felt comfortable and confident enough to “warn” the President about his judicial appointments, seems to indicate that the limp-wristed Republican pansy “leadership” will continue as it has in the past.

The President was given a huge opportunity to guide this country back toward its founding principles well into the century, leaving a legacy demonstrable of his decency and moral conviction. To place a egomaniacal RINO pustule like Specter in a position where his efforts to “right” this country can be thwarted, is unbelievably stupid and inconceivable.

That being said, I fully expect that gutless pansy Frist to announce Specter as Chairmen of the Judiciary Committee.

Are you nuts? You don't "reach across the aisle" when you've won a great victory. You kick them while they are down!
