What is your first clue the MSM is setting us up for the bomb? It's the fact the SF Chronicle and other liberal outlets are pedaling the story the day after the election. Trying to get Bush voters upset and to stir up trouble where there is none. By now we should be aware of the tactics of the MSM. Now that they have lost big, the MSM is going to use every trick they have to get back in the game. I just talked to a middle cheese friend and he said don't make the assumption that Spector is the next Judiciary chairman. He also said don't feed the MSM monster.

Similar statements have been reported in the past. This is NOT the first time this has been brought up. This is not the first time that it has been mentioned that he is next in line to become Senate Judiciary Chairman. The SF Chron published the story because Specter had just said what he said. Should they have waited a week or two so that you wouldn't be suspicious?

We're not trying to destroy the nutcase. We just don't want him in the sensitive position (especially after 4 years of Daschle's and Kennedy's judicial obstruction) of Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee with enough power to further obstruct or affect Bush's judicial nominees.

Bush won a clear mandate in this election - a clearly conservative, pro-life mandate, and we expect to gain from that victory. WE WILL HAVE CONSERVATIVE, PRO-LIFE JUSTICES AND FEDERAL JUDGES APPOINTED and no damned Scottish law spouting RINO is going to stand in the way of that!!! Give him chairmanship of some other committee, but don't let him anywhere near the chairmanship of the Judiciary Committee.
