Did anyone see the colored map that Hannity showed on TV today. It was a colored map of red and blue of every town and burrough in the USA. Other than a few blue dots in NE and west coast, that whole map was virtually all red. That is saying something.

High Fives for you consistently posting the best early in the morning, and to the voters that gave us four more years of W, thus saving the nation!

Rove correctly assessed that there was no significant "center" in this race. kerry's advisors kept chasing phantom votes that really weren't there. this race was a "base battle".

karl rove planned a masterful campaign that was executed brilliantly. thank you, Mr Rove.

Now, if we can only somehow get a Proposition on the California ballot that ould provide for proportional allocation of electoral votes...alas, I am still giddy from the election and I dream...

JM is correct. Great morning posts.
I've been asleep for most of the last 24 hours. Woke up just enough at 10AM yesterday morning to hear Kerry was conceding then fell back asleep. Emotionally and physically exhausted. Finally feeling better now. :)

"...advised him to shore up the base at the expense of swing voters -- a decision that led to Bush's endorsement of a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, his commitment of federal funds to faith-based charities, and his unapologetic embrace of the doctrine of preemptive war in Iraq."

The Boston Globe should realize that SWING voters are not SWINGER voters.

Some people may have strayed from their faith and don't go to church every Sunday but they still honor their parents and know right from wrong.

The writing is on the wall that same sex marriage will become a nationally recognized thing (only a year after homosexual sodomy was made a constitutional right; prostitution which is a sex act in private between consenting adults is still ILLEGAL as is adult incest).

How many challenges will there be for churches to permit same sex ceremonies (in violation of the Biblical record)?

The "church" has become a joke because of the advocacy of abortion, same sex relations (there can be no intercourse without complementary genitalia), and even the tolerance of extramarital sex.

We are all sinners but the acceptance of those who continue to sin (and raise up their vices) is against the Bible. Those who have sex outside of wedlock generally cease when they marry (adultery is a sin noted in the 10 commandments even). Those who seek abortions generally are not married (at least to the father).

Same sex couples will always be sodomites. Does a "ceremony" make it right in the eyes of God?

"Go forth an sin no MORE."

Bush called Rove "the architect" in his victory speech.

At some point in time these liberal writers will stop with the "Bush won in spite of himself" dribble and start printing the real story; the Democrats are becoming more and more out of touch with mainstream American who have had enough with their liberal social agenda and are starting to push back. The story isn't about the White House. The story is about the gains in the Senate and House where Republican have now gained a stronger hold.

Split the state into EAST CALIFORNIA and WEST CALIFORNIA and you won't have to worry about having your electoral votes being misappropriated by those living on the coast. Same for your tax dollars bailing out those on the shore who refuse to get homeowners' insurance.

The Dems aren't resting very well.

After all, an energized political ''base" does not waver if the candidate loses a few debates.

Some of us don't feel he LOST the debates.

Dumb questions hardly deserve deep answers. I agree that some of the questions were incredulous to ask at times (especially in light of earlier answers). "What are you, a dumbass???"

Bush's margin in Texas and Georgia (2.24 million) was larger than Kerry's margin in California and New York (2.20 million).

Many of Kerry's misguided voters will see there is a majority that believes in morality and a strong America and that will make it more comfortable for them to move to the right side of the issues.

If the audience had ever even heard about Kerry's post-service role leading antiwar protests, he never would have gotten this far.

And to wind up his campaign standing next to Bill Clinton, a known draft dodger, STILL BRAGGING ABOUT HAVING GONE TO VIETNAM?

There is no doubt that the media is biased Democrat. This election was at least in part a referendum on their BIAS (Hollywood, NY/DC, and Europe).

They'll discuss the truth in private and continue to print the spin and lies in the headlines.
