Occupations that promote liberal views, different lifestyles promote different values, higher education leads to more secular values and an elitist mentality...etc.

I know that I'm bucking the trend but it was a college astrophysics class that led me to find God. Our professor was quite careful to never reveal his views. However, when he discussed the beginning of the universe, it became clear that it could not have been created absent an intelligent force. So I owe my salvation to a Berkeley professor, a situation I find delightfully ironic.
